I discovered this bag lying forlorn, on its own, on a pedestal at Homebase, Cambridge. As soon as I saw it, I knew instantly that this was one plastic bag that I would like to geometricise. So I took a picture from my iPhone and downloaded it into iTunes. Then I transported the jpeg into Photoshop CS4 and using the lasso tool, deleted its immediate surroundings. Now, I will take it into Illustrator CS4 and start drawing lines over it to create closed shapes. Then I would like to express the expressive nature of its reveals and start carving out difficult to reach interior spaces in Rhino 4.0. After dissection, I will reassemble the fabricated pieces to see what the manipulated assemblage looks like.
